There is a long stretch of beach at Sonoma State Park but much of it appears to be sandy and bare. Nearby Rock Point Beach and Furlong Gulch seem to be the places to go diving.

Restrooms, fire pits and campsites are available at Wright's Beach although those who don't mind walking can save themselves a $10 day use fee by parking in the upper lot.
