Between the Metridium Fields to the West and The Wall to the East, Middle Reef is an often overlooked feature of Breakwater Cove.

Entry & Access
Enter the water from the middle of San Carlos Beach and swim straight out. At some tides there are large wash rocks to avoid but the entry is clean for the most part.
