This public beach is named for the distinctive building next door to the south. Find it by driving to the intersection of Scenic Road and Stewart Way.

Skill Level & Hazards

I had a bit of trouble getting down to the beach, the trail is a bit steep in full gear and slippery tree roots made the descent trickier than I like. I recommend you take your gear down in stages, tank first. The younger, fitter divers didn't have as much trouble as I did. You'll also need to take care that the gulls don't pilfer your things. Don't leave anything on the beach that they can lift or drag off. There was a bit of surge getting in on the particular day I went, but nothing hazardous. I would not take a new diver here or anyone who wasn't a strong swimmer, as there was no indication on the surface that there was surge below.
