Entry & Access
This site lies a significantly length surface swim from San Carlos Beach; it is most easily accessed by kayak or boat. The site is in a high-traffic boating area; plan a long swim underwater and back to avoid traffic or use a highly visible dive flag on a float or kayak.
Skill Level & Hazards
Boat traffic presents a significant hazard at this site. Use caution and practice high visibility with floats and flags when diving; secure kayaks or boats as needed. This site sits at roughly 60ft and is remote from land, providing very few options in case of emergency.
Although the wreck is fairly settled and does not have an accessible interior, it can still present entanglement hazards. The wreck should not take load, as it may shift and cause injury.
